EXPERIENCE

Sona M. Garg, DO, FAIM

I am a board certified family medicine physician with 10 years of experience.   I completed my undergraduate degree at Rutgers University and a Semester at Sea while in college.  I received my medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.  My family medicine residency was at Abington Jefferson Family Medicine in Pennsylvania.  In my last year of residency I was grateful to be selected to serve as one of the chief residents of my program.  I am also a fellow of Academic International Medicine and serve on the Board of Governors for the American College of Academic International Medicine.

I am passionate about providing simple, easy access to care to my patients in a kind, compassionate, caring, and thorough manner.  I take into account the mind, body, and spirit in all I do.

I enjoy spending quality time with my family, swimming, exercising, yoga, meditation, travel and international medicine.  I believe every human being has a right to great health care all around the world.
